Joshua was invited to attend a delegation to South Korea as an ‘Emerging Researcher in Urban Design’ with a delegation of Australian researchers for the third Australia-Korea International Green Growth Workshop and Impacts of Climate Change on Urban Living conference (from 11- 18 May 2012).

The workshop, co-organised by the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK) and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), highlighted Australian research and Korea’s commercialisation of technologies.

Participants discussed urban design and energy policy development, while fostering collaborations to access new research, skills and infrastructure to accelerate generation of new ideas and innovative technologies, as well as attending a roundtable meeting at the Yeosu Expo.
